Masoub is a hearty Yemeni pudding made from ripe bananas and bread, mashed together and finished with cream and honey. Warm, soft and comforting, it’s one of Yemen’s best-loved sweets and easy to share.
Areeka starts with mashed dates and crumbled bread. Our Salam areeka is topped with almonds, cashews and cornflakes, plus a drizzle of cream and Sidr honey, so every spoonful has some crunch.
The crisp mutabbaq dough works just as well with sweet fillings: cream and honey, Nutella, or our signature Dubai chocolate mutabbaq with melted chocolate, pistachio cream and crushed nuts.
